Westfield had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Rahway on Saturday. Westfield has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Rahway, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Coming up, Westfield will venture away from home to  square off against New Providence  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Rahway, they will welcome Dunellen  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Destroyers have averaged an impressive 9.4  runs per game this season.
