Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western). They walked away with a 69-60 victory over the Hanover-Horton Comets on Saturday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

The win snapped Western's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Hanover-Horton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

Western will take on Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanover-Horton, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
