Green Bay Southwest hasn't had much luck against De Pere recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Fighting Trojans will be playing at home against the Redbirds at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Green Bay Southwest turned things around against Lena on Saturday. They blew past the Wildcats 9-2.

Kolton Dudek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Green Bay Southwest is undefeated when Dudek posts two or more runs, but 3-10 otherwise.
In other batting news, Green Bay Southwest let Braxton Murphy and Kaleb Langenberg run wild. Murphy went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Langenberg went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Murphy has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Daniel Cutlan, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Green Bay Southwest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lena only posted an OBP of .259.
Meanwhile, De Pere came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Rockets.
Ryan Wettstein was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Cullen Pennings was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
De Pere's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
