The Rangers won their fourth Class B title and first since 2004 with a 56-39 win over Presque Isle behind three sophomore shooting guards:
Moira Train,
Isabel Porter and
Molly Chapin. All should return to help Greely's quest for a second-straight title.

2. Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert)Head coach: Brent Barker
2014-15 record: 18-1
The Trojans won 18 straight to start the season before a 62-50 defeat to Gardiner in the Class B quarterfinals. Among key returners are

Sierra Tapley.

The Patriots had a outstanding season last year before being eliminated by eventual Class B champion Greely 57-34 in the playoffs. Gray-New Gloucester had defeated Greely earlier in the year. Among key returners for the Patriots are

After winning state B titles in 2012 and 2013, the Wildcats came up short last season, losing in the state finals to Greely. Presque Isle lost 1,000-point senior scorers Hannah Graham and Krystal Kingsbury, but return 5-11 post

The undefeated Class D champions almost doubled their opponents' scores last season, scoring 1,326 points to just 672 allowed. The Beavers lost 2,000-point career scorer MacKenzie Worcester, who put up 37 points in the team's 60-54 win over Rangeley Lakes for the title. But they return

Jesssica Aube. The Beavers have won five straight state titles.
