Tess Cozza was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gianna Roth, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Gianna Dasenbrook also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
