On Wednesday, Eagle humbled Emmett with a 79-36 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-22.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eagle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gaige Wall, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Huish, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Eagle and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Emmett, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle will stay at home for another game and welcome Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Emmett will take on Fruitland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fruitland and Emmett are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
