The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mid Valley, who took down 322nd ranked Mid Valley, 13-6. Kyle Carney ran for 126 yards and caught three passes for 51 yards in the win.
Dunmore extended the longest winning streak in Lackawanna 2 this week by beating Riverside, 34-20. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Dunmore's dynamic duo of Brandon Kujawski and John Rinaldi proved tough for the Vikings to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kujawski threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns and Rinaldi had 75 yards receiving. Austin Seamon helped Dunmore's passing attack out by catching one ball for 36 yards.
Chris Roche was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 164 yards as Lakeland defeated Riverside. Tyler Brady also contributed to the rushing game with 95 yards on the ground.
Johnny Rhodes provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Western Wayne fell to the Chiefs. He completed 10 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown and also ran for one yards. Rhodes' favorite target this week was James Berger, who caught three passes for 67 yards.
5-foot-11 quarterback Kevin Miller of Honesdale is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1045. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. On the ground, the Wildcats' Robbie Siclari has rushed for 1380 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ron Tomasetti. The Mid Valley star has 38 catches for 676 yards.
Daiqwon Buckley has rushed for 945 yards on 95 carries so far this year.
The Hornets moved up to 394 from 446 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Lackawanna 2. Honesdale climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Spartans 13-6.
