Lander Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 20-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Green River. If Lander Valley were hoping to take revenge for the 6-42 loss against Green River the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Lander Valley off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Green River a 1-0 record.
Next week, Lander Valley take on Powell at 7:00 PM. As for Green River, they will face off against Rawlins.
