The Ralls Jackrabbits had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 66-57 victory over Lockney on Tuesday. The victory was just what Ralls needed coming off of a 74-52 loss in their prior game.
Despite the loss, Lockney still got an impressive performance from Nathan Hernandez, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hernandez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dahlen Silva, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Ralls' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Lockney, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Ralls will face off against the Whirlwinds at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Floydada's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches. As for Lockney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
