In other batting news, Hayes Weller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Cole Medsker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one double.
South Holt kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
South Holt's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Gallatin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
