The Edisto Cougars will square off against the Branchville Yellow Jackets at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Edisto is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.

He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Furthermore,  he didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  double. That  triple marked the first that  he  hit this season.

 In other batting news, Edisto let  Billy Hardy and  Michael Myers run wild. Hardy  scored a  run while going 3-for-3, while  Myers  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  Hardy a new career-high.  Grady Bearden was another key player,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
