The Walhalla Razorbacks stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 80-27 win over Crescent at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Walhalla has managed all season.
Marnie Baxter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kami Roach, who scored 14 points along with six assists and four steals.
Walhalla is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Crescent, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walhalla will stay at home for another game and welcome West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (West-Oak is ranked 70th, while Walhalla is ranked 52nd). As for Crescent, they will be playing at home against Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pendleton is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
