Trigg County fell to Monroe County 19-37 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Trigg County were able to grind out a solid win over Monroe County on Friday, winning 34-20.
Trigg County got off to a sluggish start, posting 0 total points in the first half. That left them at a 0-12 disadvantage. The offense took control in the second half,however, scoring 34 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Trigg County a 1-0 record and starting Monroe County off at 0-1.
