Lawson Skinner and Talan Pollack certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Skinner scored 22 points along with six rebounds, while Pollack dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Pollack has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played.
NorthPoint Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Jackson Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.
