Clearwater Academy International had a mediocre defensive performance in the first half, giving up 18 points. That left it at a 18 - 14 disadvantage. It allowed 14 points to fall even further behind in the second half.
Senior D'Aundre Wood and junior Josiah Irvin were the main playmakers for Central Virginia Disciples as Wood ran for 96 yards and also punched in two touchdowns and Irvin picked up 149 yards on the ground.
The win lifted Central Virginia Disciples to 6-3. Clearwater Academy International's record fell to 4-7 after the loss.
