Hamilton Heights extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Indiana this week by beating Western Boone, 52-16. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Hamilton Heights was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Stars. Mitch Street's team came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 30 last week.
Hamilton Heights' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Huskies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Corey Beck has thrown for 1850 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Grant Weatherford has 33 catches for 632 yards. Conner Faulkner leads the league in rushing with 930 yards.
Entering into this week's contest against Eastbrook, Beck is short just 150 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
Faulkner of the Hamilton Heights is only 70 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
The Huskies took down Western Boone 52-16 last week, the largest margin of any game. Beck threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 52 yards in the win.
