They came out on top in a nail-biter against Austin Waldorf and snuck past 33-31. This was payback for Founders Classical Academy, who suffered a 53-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Founders Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Adelis Russell, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mary Tavarez, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Founders Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Austin Waldorf, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
