The Meadows School Mustangs can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Boulder City at home to the tune of 77-49. The win was familiar territory for The Meadows School who now have nine in a row.
The Meadows School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grant Moses led the charge by scoring 13 points along with two steals. Moses hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Fink, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Boulder City had strong showings from Sean Pendleton, who scored 12 points, and Roman Rose, who scored ten points along with five assists and three steals. Rose hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Easton Welbourne was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
The Meadows School pushed their record up to 17-7 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Boulder City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.
The Meadows School will head out on the road to challenge the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Doral Academy Red Rock has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Boulder City, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four games.
