The biggest upset of the week belonged to Chiles, who took down 216th ranked Chiles, 48-28. Kenny Scott threw for 28 yards and one touchdown, ran for 344 yards and caught three passes for 16 yards in the win.
Lincoln extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 1 this week by beating West Port, 39-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Buchholz's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bryce Goston threw for 165 and one touchdown and Ahmad Ivey had 119 yards receiving. Henry Hall helped Buchholz's passing attack out by catching two balls for 36 yards.
The Timberwolves' Ben Hatch and Mike Dunn have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hatch has thrown for 1046 yards this season, while Dunn has 20 catches for 299 yards. The Bobcats' Scott leads the league in rushing yards with 1005.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wolf Pack take on Chiles. West Port is in second place, while the Timberwolves are in fourth place.
Buchholz moved up to 197 from 235 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 1. Mark Whittemore's team was able to make move up by besting Chiles 48-28.
