Williamstown and Wheeling Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Williamstown had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 59-40 to the Maroon Knights. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Williamstown's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
