Big Sandy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Berry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Berry has scored at least 25% of Big Sandy's points. Another player making a difference was Serenity Guin, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Manassas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Big Sandy, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
Manassas' road trip will continue as they head out to face Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering at 1:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering and Manassas are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Big Sandy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lewis County at 6:00 p.m.
