The Cocoa Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Rockledge, falling 76-31. Cocoa has not had much luck with Rockledge recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Travon Graves and Dontay Williams certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Graves scored ten points along with seven rebounds, while Williams scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Cocoa has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Rockledge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.
Cocoa's road trip will continue as they head out to face Titusville at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Rockledge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Astronaut has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 485 points over their last seven contests.
