Kenesaw came out on top against Blue Hill by a score of 36-28. This was payback for Kenesaw, who suffered a 46-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Kenesaw got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jorja Uden out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bentley Olson, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds.
Blue Hill's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Reece Mlady, who scored 7 points along with 13 rebounds and 3 steals. Ellie Mangers was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 4 steals.
Kenesaw's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Blue Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenesaw won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Alma at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Blue Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Doniphan-Trumbull on Friday.
