The Waxahachie Indians entered their tilt with the Skyline Raiders with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Waxahachie took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 90-59 win over Skyline. That 31 points margin sets a new team best for Waxahachie this season.
King Grace was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Jefferson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Waxahachie is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Skyline, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waxahachie will take on Cedar Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Waxahachie likes a good challenge. As for Skyline, they will be playing at home against DeSoto at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeSoto presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Skyline in Texas (DeSoto is ranked 152nd, while Skyline is ranked 456th).
