After only one run in their last match, Greer made sure to put some runs up on the board against Travelers Rest on Friday. Greer put the hurt on Travelers Rest with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Greer's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Travelers Rest, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Greer will venture away from home to square off against Pickens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Travelers Rest, they will welcome Woodmont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games Woodmont has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
