Marais des Cygnes Valley took down Chase County on Tuesday, a win that might not have happened without Landon Reed's standout effort. Reed did his part (and then some), scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4 for the 'W'. He has become a key player for Marais des Cygnes Valley: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

Reed's strong effort led Marais des Cygnes Valley over Chase County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled on Tuesday. The Trojans have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
