Spring Grove has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the Mabel-Canton Cougars at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Spring Grove gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. Everything went their way against Lewiston-Altura as Spring Grove made off with  a  12-3 win.
  Jaxon Strinmoen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. Strinmoen was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Braedon Solie was a standout: he got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Elijah Solum, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 Meanwhile, while Mabel-Canton put up plenty of  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Schaeffer Academy. Mabel-Canton blew past Schaeffer Academy 12-0.
 Like Spring Grove, Mabel-Canton also got a great game from a two-way player:  Isaac Underbakke. He  tossed 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Underbakke was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Cayden Tollefsrud was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  Brevyn Tollefsrud was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Spring Grove's record is now 8-3. As for Mabel-Canton, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-8.
Mabel-Canton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Spring Grove has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .465. It's a different story for Mabel-Canton, though, as  they've  only  averaged .349. Will they be able to contain Spring Grove's hitters?
 Everything went Spring Grove's way against Mabel-Canton in their previous meeting  two weeks ago as Spring Grove made off with  a  6-0 win.
