Meanwhile, Shenandoah Valley fell victim to Minersville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 21-0 to the Battlin' Miners. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Shenandoah Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Schuylkill Haven, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
