Having struggled with three  losses in a row, Knob Noster  turned things around against Oak Grove  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   15-11  win over Oak Grove.

 Mason Eames made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Knob Noster is undefeated when  Eames posts two or  more  runs, but 12-14 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Garrett Eames, who  got on base  in four of his six plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted  over his last nine  games.
 Knob Noster  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Pleasant Hill, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against St. Paul Lutheran on Wednesday as they made off with  a  16-6 victory. The Roosters/Chicks not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 24th (when they won  12-2).
 Knob Noster now  has a winning record of 15-14. As for Pleasant Hill, their win  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 12-15.
 Knob Noster couldn't quite finish off Pleasant Hill in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024 and fell  3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
