The biggest upset of the week belonged to Jay, who took down 314th ranked Jay, 36-23.
Clark moved up to 533 from 660 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region IV District 27. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Mustangs 36-23.
Adriec Robinson was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 105 yards as Warren lost to O'Connor. Teammate Jordan Sneed added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
GILBERT GARCIA put up the best numbers through the air as Holmes defeated Stevens. He finished with eight completions for 147 yards. GARCIA's favorite target this week was BRYCE THOMPSON, who caught three passes for 61 yards.
Taylor was the best wideout in the league this week as the Warriors fell to the Panthers. Taylor racked up 11 receptions for 107 yards. Edwin Robinson helped Warren's passing attack out by catching one ball for 60 yards.
A big matchup in 5A Region IV District 27 this week will be when Brandeis takes on Jay. Brandeis is in first place, while the Mustangs are in fourth place.
The Huskies were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. Holmes vanquished Stevens 30-24 earlier in the week.
