Wayne put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged out the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils 43-40. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 43-31 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mynderse Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Wayne will take on Wilson Magnet in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mynderse Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clyde-Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
