NorthWood put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They greeted the New Year with with a 64-48 win over the Indianapolis Washington Continentals. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Continentals are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Indianapolis Washington still got an impressive performance from Roosevelt Franklin, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. The contest was Franklin's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Robert Sanders was another key player, putting up nine points.

NorthWood's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Indianapolis Washington, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
