The Archie Whirlwinds are on the road again  on Thursday to play the Midway Vikings at 4:30  p.m. Midway took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Archie, who comes in off a win.
 After only one  run in their last  contest, Archie made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Lakeland  on Tuesday. Archie walked away with  a   10-7  victory over Lakeland.
  Brock Smith made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Smith was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kale Snook, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Talan Reynolds, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Midway came up short against Adrian on Monday and fell  8-5.
 The  win  got Archie back to even at 2-2. As for Midway, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
