The Charleston Trojans will be playing at home against the Effingham Flaming Hearts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Charleston suffered a rough 61-38 loss at the hands of the Rockets. Charleston has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Adam Rudibaugh, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Bonnstetter, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-46, which was the final score in Effingham's tilt against the Bulldogs on Saturday. Effingham has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Charleston has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Effingham, their loss dropped their record down to 3-25.
Charleston strolled past the Flaming Hearts in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 55-41. Will Charleston repeat their success, or do the Flaming Hearts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
