School of the Arts's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 29-19 margin over the Edison Tech Inventors. The Silverhawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

School of the Arts' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Edison Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. School of the Arts will square off against Gates Chili at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Silverhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Edison Tech, they will face off against Wilson Magnet at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
