After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forks, the Crescent Loggers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Quilcene, posting a 73-45 victory on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Crescent's 22-point performance the match before.
Lukas Love had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peyton Watson, who scored 9 points.
The victory got Crescent back to even at 1-1. As for Quilcene, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Crescent will be playing at home against Ocosta at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Ocosta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Thursday. As for Quilcene, they will head out on the road to face off against Clallam Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
