Midland Adventist Academy  took care of business in their home opener  (barely) on Tuesday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Plaza Heights Christian Academy Lions  7-6. The  win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.
 Midland Adventist Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Parker Novay, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  James Henry was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Plaza Heights Christian Academy moved to 3-3 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Midland Adventist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to  take on Braymer  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
