The Richland Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chestnut Ridge Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Richland comes in on three and Chestnut Ridge on six.
Last Friday, Richland strolled past Somerset with points to spare, taking the game 67-48.
Meanwhile, Chestnut Ridge put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Bedford at home to the tune of 90-62. Given Chestnut Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Bedford is ranked 583rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Richland's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Chestnut Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
