Having just played yesterday, the Madison Central Indians will jump right back in to play the Taylor County Cardinals at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Madison Central is ranked 63rd, while Taylor County is ranked 43rd).
On Thursday, Madison Central got the win against Greenwood by a conclusive 59-37. With Madison Central ahead 34-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Madison Central can attribute much of their success to Cameryn Ridderikhoff, who scored 16 points, and Nataya Strader, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Strader has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Jordynn Miles was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Meanwhile, Taylor County ended up a good deal behind South Laurel on Wednesday and lost 60-43.
Madison Central now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Taylor County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
