Hoopeston got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addyson Kelnhofer out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mady Klaber, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points.
Westville's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Hoopeston, their record is now 17-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westville will host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoopeston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hoopeston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
