Davis is a perfect 3-0 against Weber since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Davis is taking a road trip to take on Weber at 5:00 p.m. This will be Davis' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
Last Thursday, Davis beat Ridgeline 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Darts.
Davis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-19.
Davis' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Siona Faeamani, who had seven digs and three aces, and Chase Valentine, who had ten kills and five digs. Those three aces gave Faeamani a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brandon Sims, who had eight digs and three aces.
They weren't the only good server: Davis was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgeline only served one ace.
Meanwhile, Weber had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-1.

Davis better focus on containing Seth Cook and Jake Ahlmer as the pair were huge in Weber's win. Cook had five digs and three aces, while Ahlmer had 22 assists and five digs. Those aces were Cook's first of the season.
Weber pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Davis, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Davis was able to grind out a solid win over Weber in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Davis have another victory up their sleeve, or will Weber turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
