Palo Alto came out on top against Homestead on Wednesday thanks in part to Justin Fung's efforts. Fung produced his best game of the campaign: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Palo Alto's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 7-11 when he doesn't).

Fung's strong effort led Palo Alto over Homestead and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are a perfect 10-0 against the Mustangs going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
