Osborne is 8-0 against Tescott since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Osborne Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Tescott Trojans. Osborne will be strutting in after a victory while Tescott will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Osborne was able to grind out a solid win over Victoria, taking the game 37-25. Given Osborne's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Victoria is ranked 251st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 73 points the game before, Tescott were a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 50-23 defeat at the hands of Stockton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tescott has scored all season.
Osborne pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19.1 points. As for Tescott, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Osborne took their win against Tescott in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 62-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Osborne since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
