Sweetwater found their leader in underclassman Mallory Gibson, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaidynce Tilley, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Sweetwater's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Big Spring, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-21.
