Basketball Recap: Lexington Piles Up the Points Against Luling

Lexington waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Luling Eagles 66-30. Lexington has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Maya Bell, who went 10 for 19 on her way to 21 points and five steals. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamoria Crawford, who posted seven points and nine steals.

Lexington's record now sits at 11-1. As for Luling, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Moulton the next time they take the court. Lexington will head out to face Moulton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Luling will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
