There's no place like home for Waverly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the York Dukes 3-0 on Tuesday. The Vikings not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

While Waverly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-12.

Hallie Lauenstein paced Waverly's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lauenstein got some help from Tyka Hoos and her 37 assists. Finally, Emmalyn Quinn kept Waverly's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Despite the loss, York still got an impressive performance from Claire Koch, who had ten digs. Koch is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Waverly's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for York, they dropped their record down to 11-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Waverly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Standing Bear on the 16th. As for York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lakeview on the 16th.
