Lake Norman has gone 9-1 against Mooresville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will take on the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lake Norman turned things around against Statesville on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Greyhounds.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Norman took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-12.

Lake Norman can attribute much of their success to Jordin Smith, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Smith has posted over her last four matches.
Meanwhile, Mooresville hadn't done well against South Iredell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win.
Mooresville never let South Iredell on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-22.
Mooresville's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Lake Norman, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Lake Norman has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Mooresville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
