Even though Rocky Mount Academy has not done well against Arendell Parrott Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Rocky Mount Academy really took it to Arendell Parrott Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-14 win at home. With Rocky Mount Academy ahead 34-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Rocky Mount Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isabella Daza led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Taylor Carmichael was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
The losses dropped Epiphany to 2-3 and Gramercy Christian to 0-5.
Epiphany suffered a grim 62-41 defeat to Rocky Mount Academy when the teams last played back in January. Thankfully for Epiphany, Mackenzie Davis (who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
