Plainview hadn't done well against Reeves recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hornets blew past the Raiders 16-6. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Plainview's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Reeves, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Plainview has already played their next game, a 24-4 victory against Ville Platte on the 13th. As for Reeves, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-3 loss against Elizabeth on the 12th.
