The Lee Williams Volunteers will head out to square off against the Prescott Badgers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Lee Williams will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Flagstaff, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Volunteers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Lee Williams got a great performance from Ian McGrew as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Lincoln Lewandowski was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Prescott made easy work of Westview on Friday and carried off a 20-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Cooper Magnett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Tobin, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Prescott always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Prescott has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Lee Williams, their record now sits at 7-8.
Lee Williams came up short against Prescott in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 3-0. Can the Volunteers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
